I feel nothing, if they have some to disagree then its totally fine. Still think its trash regardless if they think they like it. Besides, if you watch enough anime you start to develop actual taste and know what's bad and whats good but I get it, there definitely should be a boundary from saying why its bad or why its garbage without any explanation. I still think that rating an anime needs to be a thing so that especially with picky new anime watchers they need to know what they're getting into. You can never trust a person saying ONLY good things about the anime but not the cons of what makes it bad or what can sometimes make a viewer be turned off by it. At the end of the day just do what you want or say whatever you want, its the internet after all.

I agree shows don't have to be unique to be entertaining just look at jujutsu kaisen, demon slayer etc. Kenja no mago felt like zero effort was put in to make it even half decent, textbook example of a soulless cashgrab. I watch isekai's as guilty pleasure and a show that's not even capable of being that are worthless imo.

This one is like a B Tier power fantasy action show. Protagonist being a 1000 year old op demon lord with the social skills of a dead cat and the emotional intelligence of of mashed patatoes hurts it a bit because it leads to stale stereotypes and standard plots like: GOtta get promoted by the king of the country after 3 episodes, oh no who could have seen that one comming. Also they should all be 18+ and banging behind the scenes so we dont get all those cringe "what are boobs??? omg I see a hot girl and have seksual thougts smh what is life" scenes or "what even is a date?" and "harems are for 17yo and younger virgins only" plot points that are just such a massive waste of time

Honestly, as much as majority of these garbage anime is a thing, this type of anime is great to just turn off your brain and enjoy the stupidity of the show and you don't have to think too much of it after watching shows like 86 or AOT where its such an emotional wreck (in a good way) that time to time garbage anime that doesn't need to make sense is enjoyable when needing a mental break.

D tier
